Looking for Heavy-Duty Conveyor Belting… Look No Further.
Eye-Flex is the strongest belt available in the Wire Belt family of products. Eye-Flex conveyor belting is made for applications that require an extremely rugged, long lasting belt.
Eye-Flex’s greater strength, carrying capacity, and open flat surface profile is the answer to all your heavy-duty conveying needs, whether you have a new or a replacement application.

Chain Edge
By fitting a chain to each edge, the belt can be guided laterally by the chain wheels. Besides being an alternate positive drive system, this edge style is very strong.
Reinforcing Plates
Reinforcing plates are usually fitted at the edges of the belt, typically a double row. If increased strength is required, more plates can be used. For wider belts, furthers rows of reinforcing plates may be added at intermediate positions
Side Guards
Eye-Flex belts can be equipped with side guards to prevent product falling off the side of the belt. Height and shape of the side guards can be customized for your product or application. These side guards can also be inserted at various points across the belt width providing a positive separation between rows of product.
Flights
Flights can be added to Eye-Flex belts, which form a barrier across the belt width, can aid transport of product up inclines. Other styles can hold product in fixed positions.
Flights can be bolted, welded in place, or formed directly into the wire. Height, shape and style of flight can be customized for your application

Drive Sprokets and Idle Rollers
Sprockets give a positive drive to the belt, thus avoiding slippage or tracking issues. Rollers can be used on idle shafts, but it is recommended that one or two sprockets are included to ensure that the shaft turns.

Material
Sprockets are available made from stainless steel 1,4305 (303), which is suitable for the majority of applications, or 1.4571 (316Ti/320). For lower temperature applications plastic sprockets are a less expensive option, either polyamid (PA 6G) or polyethylene.

Cage Rollers
For freezing tunnel applications, we recommend the use of cage rollers. The open design prevents the accumulation of snow and ice, which can be a problem with conventional sprockets.
