In-line processes often require repositioning of product for most efficient handling or aligned transport. This often creates a need to spread or converge products as they move between processes. Equipment of different widths require special conveyors to bridge the gap and integrate these processing units into a smooth running and efficient production line.

Straight conveyors are available, fitted with Flat-Flex®, Eye-Flex®, CompactGrid®, or Honeycomb steel belts; they are also available with plastic modular belt. There is a belt choice to suit most applications.

A wide range of optional features and special variants ensure the versatility to satisfy most application requirements.

The Flat-Flex Shuttle Conveyor is a versatile piece of equipment that can, in a single operation, both gap the product and turn the direction of travel through 90º.

A common application is the transferring of product from a narrow belt to cover the full width of a much wider belt.

ConveyorTec conveyors can be customised and configured to suit customers’ individual requirements. Bespoke design can enable the customer to fit their own equipment on to, or inside, the conveyor. Conveyors can be supplied ready to install, or part finished for an OEM to complete.

Many options can be offered, including:

• Trays under the conveyor
• Guarding under, or over, the conveyor
• PTFE running rails or transfer rollers, for higher temperature applications
• Swivel lockable castors

ConveyorTec manufacture custom conveyors for several OEMs, designed and developed for them.

The Flex-Turn® Series 500 Conveyors are similar to the Series 300 & Series 400 units, differing only in that the belt is supported on a stainless steel top.

The Flex-Turn® Conveyor pictured is a customised version produced for our distributor in Australia. For ease of mobility, with improved stability, the conveyor was supplied with a special leg frame. This provided greater spacing between the castors and, with the drive repositioned, weight has been moved toward the middle of the units’ footprint. The conveyor was also fitted with a stainless steel motor cover.
